Webinar: Recruiting & Retaining Educators of Color

Given the increasing diversity of the student population in U.S. public schools, renewed efforts are being made by federal, state, and local officials to recruit and retain teachers of color. This webinar, co-sponsored by the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for African Americans, featured an interactive discussion where researchers, policy makers, and practitioners shared best practices on strategies to increase the diversity of the country’s teaching force.
