Instructional Leadership Teams: Developing the Capacity of Leaders to Improve Teaching and Student Achievement in Low-Performing Schools

Ann Jaquith and Brent Stephens will discuss their work over the past 3 years to develop instructional leadership practices within and among SFUSD's elementary schools. They will also describe the next phase of this work to support principals and site-based instructional leadership teams in SFUSD's elementary schools. The second phase of this work is taking place during the 2014-2015 school year and is funded by the Stanford Graduate School of Education's Incentive Fund for working with SFUSD.
