Alissa Fong is the Director of Programming for the National Board Resource Center, a teacher coach and professional learning provider through the Center to Support Excellence in Teaching at Stanford, and an Instructional Team Member for the University of Pennsylvania Project-Based Learning Certificate Program. She supports STEM teachers in artifact-based coaching and professional learning with equity at the center. Prior to coming to Stanford, Alissa received National Board Certification as an instructor of mathematics and taught in California public schools for twelve years. She has a BS in Mathematics and an MA in Secondary Mathematics Instruction, both from Stanford.
Alissa joined the SCOPE team in the fall of 2020 with a focus on building community within the teaching profession through the NBRC. Through her work, she seeks to help teachers sustain in the work and push themselves to continue to grow professionally, thereby advancing high-quality learning opportunities across the United States.

- Remote, video-based coaching with teachers from all across the United States, Hong Kong, Moscow, and Melbourne focused on equitable teaching practice and student discussion
