Colloquium Provocation Paper: Pay Attention to the Culture of Schooling

This paper explores what we mean by equity in education in the 21st century, examining education through the lens of economic and educational disparities that are so highly correlated with skin color, ethnicity, and social class status in U.S. society — arguments that often get less attention in policy circles.
